This cleanser is a sweet treat for acne-prone skin peeps. Salicylic acid is best used in cleanser from, so I've been told, and I would always prefer La Roche-Posay products given their reputation. From my two weeks of use, this cleanser can be a little drying, so I am using it with a different moisturizer in the mornings, and Biossance rose oil + benzoyl peroxide treatment gel at night.

As with the La Roche-Posay Effaclar Deep Cleansing Foaming Cream that I use, it only takes a little to clean your face so one tube lasts a long time. If I had a complaint about the Gel Cleanser, it would be that I wished it foamed up a little more when scrubbing. I guess I'm a little jaded by the Deep Cleaning Foaming Cream which I love.

I'm using Retin-A every night for my acne. I use this only in the morning as salicylic acid shouldn't be used at the same time as Retin-A. It's a basic formulation, but this is all I'm looking for, it mildly exfoliate as it cleanses. Not to mention the bottle is very large, I use this both on my face and on my back.
