Reviews For Laura Geller Baked Balance-n-Brighten Color Correcting Foundation
Coverage
My fault but I feel the shade is too light. Also not much coverage at all. Doesn't cover any imperfections.

Color is Good but Texture Too Powdery
By powdery, I mean that it's very loose and dusty when used. I've worn various other brands of foundation powders -- all of which were loose, not in cake form as is the Laura Geller Baked Balance-n-Brighten Color Correcting Foundation -- yet this one is dustier than any of the other brands I've tried. Makes it kind of a mess to apply, and I'm not liking the look as I thought I would. It's not terrible, and the color works pretty well, so I'll use it until gone, probably, but won't buy again.

eh
I am still undecided about this- could be that I needed a darker color or I need to avoid powders due to my age- but I feel the few wrinkles I have look more noticable. I probably should have went to a physical store and find what works/looks well on me instead of buying on line

Has potential
I wanted to really like the idea of a makeup for aging skin. The previous makeup I used, I felt magnified my wrinkles instead of blurring them. The problem I found with this is the color and application. Sometimes it looks well blended and not splotchy. Other times it looks irregular and does not cover imperfections. I have tried several different brushes to improve application.. I will continue to work on this but wish it was more foolproof.

not exactly what I expected
This product is "ok" but not what all the blogs preview.

Disappointed!
Was looking forward to a very light, buildable foundation but find it too heavy even when I try to apply it sparingly.

Unfortunately, it arrived damaged
I had to be refunded because the powder was all crumbled! Customer Service quickly issued my refund very quickly.

I wanted to love it.
I wanted to love it, but I like it instead. I thought it made skin look too dry and flat looking. I didn't see any brightening or correcting. I was looking for lighter coverage and I do like that about this foundation. I also found it easy to use. I'm going to keep at it and try different primers and blushes to see if I can get it to work for me.

Caused irritation
This product is beautiful and I love the simplicity behind it. Finally an all in one powder…. Unfortunately I have super sensitive skin and this product made my skin feel prickly and irritated all day long. I wore it a couple of times and finally had to return it. I have no idea what ingredient caused my irritation, I normally use osmosis pressed powder and have used other mineral powders without any issues in the past. It gets great reviews so I’m sure it’s a fantastic product, just not right for me.

Meh…
I like the coverage and how easy it is to apply but it made my skin look dry. Also, I couldn’t find the right shade for my skin tone which is not usually too hard to match.

Thought I’d be more I pressed
After reviewing product on several sites & watching YouTube how-to videos, I hoped I’d see a great before & after on me. I’m still playing with it to try to use more, use less, use a different brush etc. Not wearing makeup since I retired (& I DO have “lovely skin”!), I’m looking for something lightweight & natural for an upcoming wedding other than liquid foundation, mineral powders etc that would fade, smear, wear off quickly, as well as get on collars & sleeves (liquids) and air & hair (mineral powders). So verdict is still out. I chose the right color…medium… but it’s not as forgiving & natural as I hoped after I watched videos. I’m continuing to experiment with different moisturizers, primer, etc & still not sure. I’ve done 1/2 my face & took a pic to see if I notice a difference. Still not happy with under eye lines, laugh lines, etc being so prominent. Now I’m wondering if I should have bought the other formula instead. But I’ll keep trying different applications because I so want this to work like I saw on videos!

Decent powder
I thought description said it gave full coverage. It does not. It’s a soft powder but doesn’t cover flaws
