Clenziderm MD Therapeutic Lition BPO 5%
This BPO lotion is good at drying up acne but it does make your skin red especially when you spot treat with it. Skin may become irritated if you use it more than once a day. I would have given it 5 stars if it dried making a seal of the pimple. I wish a BPO product would do that. I have used some SA products that do that but SA doesn’t work as well for me. I wouldn’t recommend it if you have sensitive skin but otherwise it’s a great product that last long if you are only spot treating with it. If you are using it all over you would need a good moisturizer to combat the drying effects from it. This company uses high quality ingredients. I LOVE their gentle cleansing soap.

Wow this stuff is potent. I’m 32 and still suffer from acne so this product has really worked wonders on minimizing my breakouts and clears them faster than any other product I’ve tried. The only downside is it does sting a bit when you first put it on. I have super sensitive skin so that may be why but still it goes away after a few minutes. Obviously the sting is worth the results in my opinion.

This product definitely works at preventing breakouts and healing active ones. It burns for a couple of minutes after putting it on but then it stops. This did dry me out a lot, even though I am using a moisturizer, but I have only been using it for 1-2 months so I'm hoping my skin will get more used to it and the flakiness will go away. I switched to another BP for 2 weeks and my skin freaked out, went back to this and my skin is healing again. I would definitely recommend it, just be prepared for some redness, dryness, flakiness when starting out. I still get a few breakouts once in a while but very tiny ones that heal fast, nothing red or inflamed.

I got this as a recommendation from an esthetician. Before I know how to properly use this, I applied all over my face and it burned A LOT! You should apply a very, VERY small amount to the blemishes. However, I found it left my skin with dark scars after and sometimes took a while for some to heal. Sadly, it was too strong for me. The bottle is big so the cost for it is worthy if it works for your skin type. I am medium skin tone and scar easily.

I have VERY oily skin that is acne prone. I have to use a product with benzoyl Peroxide in order to kill the bacteria. The benzoyl peroxide in this product is very easily absorbed instead on laying on top of my skin, like cheap products. I went from using proactive for 6 years to using DDS for 2+ years and both have worked during those years...until they were no longer effective and i had to find a replacement. This product took a while to work...perhaps my skin was going thru a transition. I like that it is creamy and it sinks depth to your skin fast..not to mention it is NOT grainy like the DDF bp so this is great under make up. What i love about Obagi BP is that its not over drying like the other bp products i have used..It does however bleach clothes and your hair. I will continue to use this product and hopefully for a long time. Its great together with the Obagi clenziderm salycid acid.

Burns a little
This is a pretty good Therapeutic Lotion. I use it after I wash with the Obagi CLENZIderm Foaming Cleanser. It does burn a little and dry out my skin a little. I much prefer the Therapeutic Gel, but this is a good backup. Make sure this is dry before you lay on any pillow. It does give a "bleach" effect to pillowcases.
