Eh… not my favorite
I love and have used numerous Obagi products and this has to be my least favorite one. I don’t think it has much of a microdermabrasion feel to it? It’s also difficult to scoop out and spread out evenly on the skin. But the worst part of this product… it leave the absolute worst film after you try to wash it off. It’s impossible to get off without a washcloth and using a cleanser. Wouldn’t recommend and soundly repurchase, I doubt I’ll even try to force myself to finish the jar.

Hard No From Me
I received this for free in exchange for my honest review and I honestly do not like it. It did tingle a bit while it was sitting on my skin and that was nice. It was also nice how fresh my skin looked after I removed it. However, it wasn't nice that I had to manually exfoliate my face two days later when the hard, dry patches of skin caused by the mask started to itch, flake, and peel. My skin is too sensitive for this product, I guess.

Smells Like Pledge
The excitement I had fizzled once I opened up the packaging and saw a hard, round mass inside the jar. It smells like Pledge furniture polish, and It was hard to apply on my face. What I was able to apply, left what felt like a layer of waxy residue, And it also felt like grainy sand, that I don’t think ever came off. I felt a horrible burning sensation, that was unbearable, so I tried to rinse my face, but that’s when I noticed the waxy feel. After this, my skin felt super-dry, as if I were to talk or smile, my face probably would have cracked. I followed up with their serum which did on “ok” job. My face does feel slightly smoother, but definitely not worth the pain. This was a complimentary product test from Influenster.

Wasn’t working for me...
I loved the idea of the microdermabrasion in a mask form. I was given this for free as a trial with Influenster. However, this didn’t work for me. The product in the photos on the website give you the impression it is more of a whipped cream and easy to apply. What arrives is a very hard formula and wouldn’t apply well to my skin. The directions advise damp skin. I tried many different versions of damp skin and that wasn’t making a difference. I also tried scrubbing in my hands before applying and having a slight wet face. That made it a bit easier to scrub into the skin but I never felt a tingling which was described. I didn’t feel a real skin difference the next day but I’m sure because it wasn’t really melting into my skin well enough to have a very good result.

I don't know if I got a bad batch or what but this was unusable. It was hard as a rock. I've never used before so I thought maybe this was normal. So a dug out a chunk and tried it. It just left a thick coat of goo on my face that took a good amount of scrubbing and rinsing to get off. Apparently, I can't return it so I spent $$$ on nothing.
