I LOVE this hair conditioner. I do not feel like it strips my hair color and it's very moisturizing. Smells nice and a little goes a long way. I have been using it for years and I dont plan to change!

Not too heavy for fine hair
I bought this after being pleased with the Hydrate Sheer Shampoo and like the conditioner too. It doesn't make my hair flat or filmy like some hydrating conditioners do. The fragrance smells fresh and isn't too strong, too.

This is a staple in my haircare wardrobe. I'm one of those people that hair products tend to build up on my hair so I do rotate the things I use, but Pureology Hydrate has been a staple. Whenever my hair is feeling dry or just needs an extra dose of pampering, I'll use this and my hair just perks up. My hair is fine and slightly wavy but I have a lot of hair that tends to get weighed down if I don't use the right products. This never weighs down my hair. Like putting Icy Hot on your head
Not a fan, although it does seem like lots of others like it. You should know that it has an extremely strong smell of essentials oils which most people love, but they bother me really badly. This, of course, isn't mentioned in the product description. The other "minty" scent is akin to putting Icy Hot on your head. And it WILL leave your neck feeling like that's what you put on it for quite a while after your shower. As far as moisturizing, I didn't find the conditioner to be any more effective than any other deeply moisturizing conditioner in its class. The shampoo, however, does seem more moisturizing than some, but not others. I posted this review to the shampoo product as well.

VERY strong-irritating menthol & peppermint oil fragrance!
For those of you with sensitive scalps and/or react to fragrant essential oils, avoid this conditioner!! It contains a high amount of peppermint leaf oil plus menthol, and the smell is SO strong. It literally stings my bare back in the shower and has caused almost non-stop scalp itchiness in the 2 weeks I've been using it. Will return to Pureology's Strength Care conditioner.

Not the same Pureology
I used to love Pureology and haven’t used it in a few years. I have been using other hair brands. I was excited for the scent of Pureology again, but my skin started reacting. Breakouts on my neck shoulders and chest. I’ve heard that Pureology reformulated, so my guess is that’s the reason for my skin reaction. So upset! For the price tag and reputation, I did not expect Pureology reformulation to ruin my skin!
