Hydrate Shampoo
I’m giving this 4 stars because it seems a bit too heavy for my hair type and tends to weigh it down. My hair is on the oilier side so I probably should have chosen a different version from Purology.

Like putting Icy Hot on your head
Not a fan, although it does seem like lots of others like it. You should know that it has an extremely strong smell of essentials oils, which most people love, but they bother me really badly. This, of course, isn't mentioned in the product description. The other "minty" scent is akin to putting Icy Hot on your head. And it WILL leave your neck feeling like that's what you put on it for quite a while after your shower. As far as moisturizing, I didn't find the conditioner to be any more effective than any other deeply moisturizing conditioner in its class. The shampoo, however, does seem more moisturizing than some, but not others. I am reposting this review to the conditioner product as well.

Caused skin breakouts
I used to love Pureology and haven’t used it in a few years. I have been using other hair products. I was excited for the scent of Pureology again, but after a week my skin started reacting. Breakouts on my neck shoulders and chest. I’ve heard that Pureology reformulated, so my guess is that’s the reason for my skin reaction. So upset!
