Please keep in mind that it takes anywhere from 3-4 months to see big improvement in most products, especially for discoloration/ hyperpigmentation. This is my first time purchasing this product. I got to a cosmetic dermatologist and the Vitamin C she sells I am not able to use because my skin becomes highly irritated. This product, I believe because of the Ferulic does not irritate my skin unless I use a little too much by accident. My physician assistant did tell me about the product because of the problem I was having with straight Vitamin C. I use it on my face everyday and my neck and eyelids 2x a week. I was directed in this fashion by the physician assistant. I love this product for my skin glows. Yes, I do have some exfoliation that occurs but that is part of the process. I generally use a cotton exfoliating pad with water and gently in circular motions to remove the material.
