Nice for additional moisture
I like to use this serum when my facial and/or neck skin feels dry or tight, or if I have a small dry patch somewhere where I need extra moisture before applying my tinted spf moisturizer. I usually alternate it with the more intense hyaluronic acid from this same skin care line. I find they each a have a different feel on my skin--the B5 has more slip and feels more like silk on my skin. I do like using both however, as I want the results from each!

Every time I think that I will not reorder the hydrating B5 gel, I reorder. I have not found anything else that comes close to giving me the extra hydration that I get from this product. I especially like that I can apply it any time of the day- when and where my face is feeling dry or itchy. This is especially so during the winter. I often apply it at night and can always fell the difference in the morning.

I think it gives me more hydration
I wanted something to add to my regime that would add more moisture to my skin. In the morning I use the serum first, them moisturizer, then the serum again and finally sunscreen. You just have to be very careful not put on very thin layers, or otherwise it will pill. I think I will use again.

Other Skinceuticals products I use are superior, but my very dry skin cannot tolerate this serum. Sometimes “hydrating” serums have the opposite effect depending on skin type, I guess. Beautifully textured serum, however.
