I used Skinceuticals CE Ferullic for years and switched a year ago to Phoretin CF gel and now to Phoretin CF Serum. I periodically review the write ups to see if there might be something more suited to me. So far I like the Phoretin Serum and am hoping it will help with some discoloration too.

No harm in trying!
I've been using the CE Ferulic for years, and am trying this to see if it is even more effective at reducing sunspots. So far, it's at least as good as the CE Ferulic, so no harm in trying. Time will tell if sunspots fade even more.

I love this serum! My dark spots on my cheeks and forehead have diminished immensely and noticeably! My major concern is melasma I used Hydroquinone for the past 1.5 yrs but noticed the minute I stopped using it my melasma came back and seemed worse than before. I'm transitioning to Skinceuticals products to manage the melasma and so far I'm happy with how my skin feels - supple, smooth, hydrated. I will update my review in a few months regarding the melasma but I'm hopeful!

I have combination skin, have been using Phloretin CF for 8 years. I am constantly told that I have a beautiful complexion. I am 61 years old. Even Med Cosmetic employees tell me I have the skin of a 50 year old and have a beautiful complexion. That used to not be the case. Received a Sample of this in the mail and really liked it. I received a sample of this and really liked it. Usually use the CE Ferulic as I have dry skin. I like this product, as with all of the SkinCeuticals Products I have tried, the quality is superior. The only reason that I am going back to the CE Ferulic is because of the dry skin, and feel this is more suited than the Phloretin. I really like the discoloration defense in this product. For people who don’t have dryer skin, this would be an excellent choice.
