Not as good as I'd hoped.
I decided to try this product instead of the Skinceuticals C E Ferulic with 15% L-Ascorbic Acid which I've used in the past. I will go back to that after I finish the Phloretin CF Antioxidant Vitamin C Discoloration Serum.

I like this but…
I began using this product earlier this year and I loved it. It wore very well under spf and makeup at first. Now that I’ve been using it awhile it doesn’t wear as good. It is now very tacky and doesn’t dry down completely. I haven’t changed my skincare regimen at all. I will not be repurchasing.

Going back to CE Ferulic
I've only used this product a few weeks so it's too soon to know if it had any impact on discoloration. The viscosity is thinner than the CE Ferulic I've been using for years and it does not give my skin the same suppleness and glow that the CE Ferulic does. Perhaps it's because this does not have sodium hyaluronate. But even with adding a moisturizer after the Phloretin, I don't see the same result. It's okay but I'm going back to my gold standard CE Ferulic after this bottle is finished.

I cycle on and off this product because of the cost. I've noticed some improvement in my skin's overall brightness and texture. The serum absorbs quickly and doesn't leave a greasy residue, which is great for my combination skin. However, I'm not entirely convinced it's worth the hefty price tag. While I've seen some reduction in dark spots, the results aren't as dramatic as I had hoped for, especially given the cost. The smell is also quite strong and takes some getting used to. Overall, it's a decent product, but if price is a consideration, not sure if it's significantly better than some less expensive vitamin C serums on the market. If you have the budget and are patient with results, you'll see results, but not miracles.

I’ve been targeting a few discolorations and have seen minimal fading. I hope to see continued improvement as I go through the bottle. It’s too early to tell, but the good new is I didn’t experience any heinous rashes or skin irritations on my sensitive skin. The bad news is the high price, so I truly hope this splurge was worth it!

Prefer CE Ferulic
I have been using this serum for a few months and prefer CE Ferulic over this because of the strange scent. I have become accustomed to the hot dog water odor of CE Ferulic and can't seem to get used to this one. I decided to try it because it is supposedly better for my skin type (combination) but don't see a difference.

I’ve used the Phloretin CF, and the CE Ferulic, and I prefer the Phloretin. The Phloretin smells better and is less sticky/tacky than the CE Ferulic. I’m not sure I notice a big difference overall in my skin, however. I probably won’t repurchase after the bottle runs out.

I love the SkinCeuticals serums! I usually use the CE Ferulic, but my skin specialist suggested I try this one to even my skin tone. I've liked it so far, but I haven't used it long enough to see a real difference yet. That's the only reason I scored it a 4 instead of a 5.

I like it but I don’t always repurchase regularly. I feel like it works but it’s an antioxidant that works by preventing damage, right? I can’t see it working. I do feel like my skin looks brighter but I also exfoliate and use sunscreen so it’s hard to tell what’s doing the heavy lifting here. If I have extra cash and am feeling spendy I’ll repurchase but I feel others do the job for less.
