Taking the Plunge
This was my first purchase from the Skinceuticals line of products. I use a line of products from another company but had been reading such positive reviews about Skinceuticals I thought I would give one of their products a try. I am truly impressed with this product and will continue with its use. The consistency is wonderful and makes application a breeze. After using this product several nights I noticed a new firmness to my skin and reduction in fine lines around my eyes. In addition I will certainly be exploring more products from this company.

This Is My Gold Standard For Wrinkle Elimination.
This delivery system is the best. It lets no air in and no product dry out like the pump tubes. You can apply a pea size amount or less. I have been using this brand for some years now. I started with the lowest dose and slowly increased the strength. It will greatly decrease the depth of deep wrinkles and eliminate fine lines and moderate depth wrinkles. It did for me.

Needed to replenish my retinol product so decided to try SkinCeuticals 1.0. I know when it comes to retinol to proceed with caution. I had very mild peeling with first application so I was confident it was working. Can see and feel a difference in my skin’s texture and tone. Strong but effective
I’ve been using the 0.5 strength which I can tolerate better in the winter. The 1.0 does dry my skin and cause peeling after about three days’ use, but no redness, burning, or sensitivity. I use HA serum before putting this on then triple lipid over that at night to help the dryness. For summer, I use a lighter moisturizer and definitely sunscreen in the morning!

I have graduated thru to the max strength retinol. My original use was to helped combat my adult acne. Acne is a non issue now but I continue to use it to keep my skin looking youthful, firmer and brighter. A little goes a long way so this product lasts a long time.

A Must Have!
I started out with the SkinCeuticals 0.5 retinol and have ramped up to the 1.0. I use it every other night along with the CE Ferulic every morning. I also use the Glycolic Renewal Cleanser twice a day. This has been the best combination and routine for me. I'm 59 with normal skin.

I have used this retinol cream for over 20 years! It refines, slowly resurfaces my skin and returns my skin to a youthful appearance. I have an issue with hyperpigmentation and this helps remove the dark spots. My facialist suggedted a few years ago to use the 1.0 for four nights in a row to create a peel, then exfoliate the skin when dry skin occurs and it is amazingly helpful! Love love this and cannot live without it!

Strong and noticing a difference!
I started slow to allow my skin time to acclimate - 2x/week at first then bumping it up to every other night. I had started with a much lower concentration in Differin but I wasn't experiencing any irritation or seeing any results so I thought I was ready to go for a stronger product. I also use SkinCeuticals C E Ferulic and their AHA Intensifier. I've tried all 3 in one day (CE early morning, AHA 30 min later, then EltaMD moisturizer with SPF & retinol in the evening) but it was just too much. FYI coconut oil works well for the peeling and hydrates quickly to resolve the peeling. Now I'm doing the morning routine on one day and the retinol on the alternating day and that seems to be good for me. Still some peeling but likely because I'm not consistent with the routine. I have noticed an age spot on my cheek to have lightened up significantly!

Drying in a good way
I use this at night and occasionally in the day under a sunscreen. Though it feels drying at night once applied after washing my face thoroughly, I feel as though my face wakes up feeling firmer and more taut. As for any burning or irritation, I’m a man and feels like my skin may be thicker as it can be only a slight sting at times that quickly goes away. I wish thought they could make this type of strength in a capsule form that to me would seem more constantly potent and easier to ration portions.
