I know you are supposed to use sunscreen on a daily basis but have had a hard time finding one to use on my oily skin - so didnt. Depended on my face powder to provide the protection and knew it wasnt enough. I recently started using the Retinol 1.0, so knew I needed to change my ways. After a consultation with a SkinMedica rep, I purchased this sunscreen and this is something I can use. As it is a physical sunscreen I was advised to "pat" it on and not rub it in. I will apply it after all my serums and let it "set" for a few minutes to allow the product to absorb. Before I apply my makeup I will use a blotting tissue to remove any oily residue. Works beautifully. If I am not going to apply any foundation, I just leave it as is. My complexion does not get any oilier than it normally would. I would recommend this to anyone that has oilier skin and hesitant to use a sunscreen.

Effective yet gentle
My dermatologist recommended the Physical Defense sunscreen. I had used others but this seems to be a better sunblock and yet is gentle on my skin.
