IT'S WATER RESISTANT!
This is a wonderful tinted sunscreen, but it's WATER RESISTANT! The box doesn't indicate this. If you have sensitive skin or Rosacea, this sunscreen is NOT for you. I have sensitive skin and had to cleanse my face 3 times to get it off!

Just okay
I am an avid sunscreen wearer, and very loyal to a different brand. I decided to try a tinted SkinMedica sunscreen and was not impressed. The sunscreen from the other brand is light but provides excellent coverage with a lovely tint. The SkinMedica tinted sunscreen got all over my clothing (which the other formula does not). I think SkinMedica is extremely overrated and has good marketing. There are better products at a much more competitive price point.

Not enough tint
I love the Skin Medica products so I thought I would try this sunscreen. I love the texture and the amount of SPF but it just didn't have enough tint for me. I was hoping it would allow me to avoid makeup and make this a one stop application. For me, I would prefer a product that would cover a little bit better.

Difficult to remove
This product is great once it’s on the skin. I’m huge about reapplying sunscreen, so after the 2nd layer, it starts to look a little cakey. It’s better than getting burned. The reason for the 3/5 starts is because this product is SO DIFFICULT TO REMOVE! I have to wash with a foamy cleanser 4+ times, and wipe with a toner at least 3+ times. And even after all that, I still feel like there’s product on my skin. Maybe I’m missing something because I’m not seeing in any of the reviews about similar issues.

I like this sunscreen till I have to use a mask with me and gives me breakouts. Other than that its a good product, the formula has lots of ingredients good for your skin.

Not for me
After hearing such great reviews, I was really excited to receive mine in the mail. However, it was not the best fit for me. First, I have extremely dry skin and I felt like it took half the bottle to feel enough coverage for sunblock on my face. It seemed to just absorb into my skin as fast as I could apply it, Secondly, I did not notice a bronzing color from it at all. I do have strong red undertones so that could be why. I am open to suggestions for another tinted SPF moisturizer if maybe I chose the wrong one for my skin type.

SkinMedica Mineral Sunscreen
It is so hard as an African American to find a mineral sunscreen that doesn't leave a cast. Although this one is tinted, it does leave a slight cast. I wish folks would cater to us as well.

The tint is too orange-y/tan
Like the first reviewer, I wanted to love this: gentle mineral sunscreen, tinted, fragrance-free, and contains nice antioxidants. But unfortunately, the tint is way too orange-y/tan for my lighter skin tone. Back to Jan Marini's Physical SPF 45....
