This is a good sunscreen. Goes on well, does not pill, and does not aggravate skin. Although it is tinted, it does not provide much coverage for uneven skin tone in my opinion. I like that it is a mineral sunscreen and has a good rating with EWG (Environmental Working Group), both of which were factors I considered when purchasing this product. I would give it a 4.5 if I could- the only thing missing for me would be a bit more camouflaging for uneven skin tone.

I almost returned this product, I even filled out the return slip but I decided it give it another chance. I initially thought the tint was too much for my very fair skin but as summer rolled on it became the perfect tint. Even though I always use spf 30+ I still get minimal color in the summer. I would give it five stars but I know I won’t like it on my winter white skin. That said, the finish is natural, nit greasy

It gives a light coverage and can take the place of foundation for everyday activities -- unless a more "made-up" look is desired. I rated it 4 instead of 5 stars because the SPF (as compared to the untinted version with SPF 35) dropped to 32.

Being that this sunscreen is tinted, I was looking for a very light coverage which it provides but the color did not blend well with my fair skin with red undertones. I currently use and have used SkinMedica products. And since I use a sunscreen every day I was happy to give this a try. I am 65 and have no major skin issues other than a little sun damage and the sag and wrinkles that accompany it. So I try to be diligent with the sunscreen. I start off with primer with sunscreen add a little concealer for under eye bags and redness then use this tinted sunscreen in lieu of foundation and follow with a small dusting of powder sunscreen. Pros - good for you sunscreen, smooth comfortable nice amount of tint. Gives face a dewy glow. Cons - not waterproof so when sweating in the sun it did get in my eyes and sting one time, it can transfer onto clothes etc and maybe a little too dewy for my skin in the summer. My skin is combo so if you are drier it would be perfect. Will probably use until summer and then switch to a waterproof sunscreen.

The only reason I gave it 4 stars was because I don’t like how it’s matte. I prefer it a little greasier, so my makeup goes on easy. But as I use the tinted one, it doesn’t agree with my foundation shade. I must say it protects skin well though, but I am medium dark skin and I didn’t like how it looks on my skin. I prefer EltaMD all the way.

Cosmetically elegant physical SPF
I'm nearing the end of my first bottle of this sunscreen. It spreads easily, I appreciate the pump, it never pills and the tint ensures no white cast. It is among the most cosmetically elegant sunscreens I have used, though I do have to be careful with blending on to my neck (I prefer to use a non-tinted sunscreen on my neck and chest, so as not to stain clothing). The tint is warmer than that of the SkinCeuticals physical fusion SPF 50, which I love but can look a tad gray on its own on my complexion. On my combination skin, it sometimes appears too dewy for me in my oily areas, so I have to powder over it. I also wish it had a higher SPF rating. For those reasons, plus the high price and lack of significant antioxidants, I will not rush to repurchase as we approach the warmer months. I may come back to it next winter, if on sale.

I like the tinted, moisturizing formula. For reference, I'm very fair-skinned with warm tones. The tint might look odd for someone with pinkish skin or darker skin. I ca't use this on my face because I'm super prone to breakouts, but I use it on my neck and chest every day. I wish it had an spf of 40. That's why I didn't give it the full 5 stars.
