In the morning, my skin looks plumped and smooth. I've even used it a few times in the morning with no "shininess" later in the day. However, I gave it four stars because it has an awful chemical odor!! It did not have it when I used the sample. Not sure if I would have purchased the larger size if I smelled it originally.
