This is a very good skin turnover but proceed carefully as it can cause skin to peel and be red. I went from .5 to the 1.0 and only use the 1.0 twice a week.

I use SkinMedica Retinol Complex 1.0 three to four times a week before going to bed. My skin looks so smooth, my wrinkles are softened, and discoloration is fading. Works better than I expected
I was surprised when I used this that I peeled. I had been using adapalene with is a retinoid (not retinol) that does not need to convert in your skin and I used it every day with hardly any peeling. So I used this product every day too and to my surprise my face became irritated and red so I stopped and waiting a few days and I could literally pull the skin off with my finger like when you have a sunburn that heals and your skin comes off in small sheets. I use it every other day then stop when it gets a little red and burning feeling and let the skin peel. I really think this works great for a retinol.
