So far, I am enjoying the creamy yet light consistency and fresh citrus smell (yet subtle). It’s a reasonable price, especially with LovelySkin’s frequent sales. I like its consistency and not very harsh. I have been using it after applying hydroquinone in the morning. It has a ver light yet pleasant scent. It makes my face look dewy when I apply it. Overall, it brightens the overall tone of my face!

This is my first Vitamin C product therefore it’s hard for me to compare since I haven’t really used any other products. I was going back and forth between this product and another from a different brand. I love my retinol from Sunday Riley so I thought I’d automatically fall in love with this one as well. But let me be completely and 100% honest with you all I truly don’t know how I feel about this one. I notice my face breaks out a little after applying, it’s too sticky for my taste, and the consistency is heavy and hard to apply. I feel as if it doesn’t melt/spread as easy as my retinol serum. Since I’ve never used vitamin c before I decided to keep it and finish the bottle but will probably end up trying the one from a different brand just to compare. Who knows? Maybe I’ll come back to this but so far I have mixed feelings about it. I can usually feel a difference with a product because my skin will just look flawless but with this product it’s hard for me to feel that way. Maybe it takes time as well so that’s what I will do.
