The Balm Appetite, All Wearable Colors

I've been wanting to try THE BALM eye shadow palettes, and finally at age 56 I bought this one! I just never paid much attention to higher end large palettes until now. When LovelySkin sent me an email to shop, I was surprised to see cosmetic lines also! And the brands! Bravo! This palette, respectfully named "Appetite," has all wearable colors. A few matte, a few shimmer, but nothing too glittery. The palette itself is adorable. I used this palette twice since I've had it and feel the colors are very blendable and lasted all day into the night. I used Micellar water to remove it. I was happy to see that even the darker colors are very wearable. The lightest showed up nicely on my light/medium olive complexion. I don't feel that this palette should be reserved just for younger women. I'm 56 and can beautifully wear all the colors. They blended out great and wore hard into the night. I used a eye primer, so that may have been partly why the color didn't fade. This is the first time I've used THE BALM eye shadow palette. No fall out upon application. Can be used with water or MAC FIX + to deepen the pigments, but I feel they are very pigmented dry. My recommendation are to purchase this lovely palette. You'll love, love, love every color included. Great large mirror also. This would be a great palette for travel also. The palette has a sleeve that covers the whole outside of it. It's the exact print you see on the palette's cover. The lid has a magnetic closure too. No way it's flying open when you travel. Use the sleeve to protect it. Don't throw the sleeve away.
