Nice Matte Lipstick
I recently discovered "liquid lipstick" and decided to try this brand. Very Nice! Light texture, nice minty aftertaste, long lasting. I bought "Trustworthy." At first I thought it was too dark (it's hard to buy color from a photo) but after application and some blotting, it's a good color. Will definitely try another shade soon!

Best liquid lipstick ever
After a lot of research, I bought four shades, all of them look stunning, dry to a matte finish and last as long as they don't come in contact with oil. I am so happy with these that I will be purchasing around five more soon. The only con is the packaging, but I always insert the wand slowly to avoid overspill. Besides this one point it's an A class lipstick.

Favorite Transferproof Liquid Lipstick Thus Far
theBalm Meet Matte Hughes Liquid Lipstick in shade "Committed" is thus far my favorite transferproof liquid lipstick. I can't speak for the other shades since I know some formulas are different depending on the shade. I feel you have to work with Committed a little bit (slightly streaky). Upon application, "committed" has a bit of a stick when pressing lips down but eventually it goes away. I don't mind that at all though! I think there's a reason why that happens because I get no flakes or crumbles with Committed as I do with another brand. That must be the moisturizer working. Committed doesn't last as long as another brand I have but that doesn't matter to me because they all eventually fade and breakdown after I eat and drink throughout the day. **What matters to me is how it looks while fading and what reapplies better, and that winner is theBalm!** When I first tried theBalm I wasn't so impressed until I started trying other brands. I am definitely going to make another purchase with theBalm during their next sale. Oh yeah I should mention that their scent is very unique. It reminds me of mint chocolate cookie/candy. However, I would still prefer unscented above all.

Great Matte product
The day I put it on my daughter took it. I had to order another one for me! I now own this lipstick in 4 colors, it's the first matte, nondrying lipstick I have found. Color is a personal preference, but this product works and stays for hours. The only issue I have ever experienced is when you put it on, it is wet and gets on your teeth etc, so do a quick check in 30 sec to make sure its cleanly applied. Then you are good to go.

It is IMPOSSIBLE not to love this product. I buy 2 of every color bc I often end up giving one away as a sample or having them stolen with love <3. I buy colors I don't even like just for the formula & line them opposite colors that make them better for my skin tone. This matte is the way lipstick is supposed to be worn & for reference I have extremely dry lips. I also ordered FixMySkin vanilla balm to dab on top AFTER MATTE HUGHES dries & I'm set for the day.
