I've used both extra strength viviscal and the professional viviscal. I have to say that the professional does work better than the extra strength. The extra strength you can primarily just get in drug stores. But the professional you can only get from an authorized retailer, such as your dermatologist or LovelySkin. It's definitely a long-term investment, just like any of the facial products you apply on daily basis, but for viviscal, it's not topical, it's a supplement. Initially, I stopped for 2 whole months after consuming viviscal for 6 months straight because I do see improvement of my falling hair conditions, but I was wrong. After stopping for 2 months, my hair went back to the original "falling" state.
