I am 66 years old. I bought Viviscal PRO because I was noticing more hair falling out. I have a lot of hair and it wasn't looking thinner, but I thought this might help with the fall out. I have been taking it for a little over a year now. The first year I took two tablets a day. I am now only taking one tablet per day. For the last two visits to my hairdresser she has told me about all of the new hair growth she is now seeing. She said I have never seen this much growth on anyone before. I used Viviscal extra strength for years and loved it. I then switched to a different brand in 2020 after a couple of big hair shedding events (menopause, COVID, stress…) I’m not sure it works any better than Viviscal, so I’m switching back for a few reasons. Viviscal is less expensive, it only requires 2 pills/day versus 4 pills/day, and it doesn’t have the high does of biotin, which causes digestive problems for me. Plus, there is no significant evidence that high does of biotin help with hair growth. I’m excited to try the Pro formula!
