I really like Viviscal Professional. I have been trying to solve my hair loss problems for years. I have been working with a dermatologist who is a hair loss specialist. I have had some success but I wanted more results. Viviscal Extra Strength was good, but Viviscal Professional is exceptional. The shedding has totally decreased. There is far less hair in the sink. This product is a winner.

I have definitely noticed increased hair growth with this product . There is a also a decrease in the hair loss. My hair has definitely been thicker since I started using Viviscal. Most of my friends are experiencing hair loss and I do not want that to be my problem, so I will continue to use it.

I have used Viviscal now since February of this year and the results are incredible. I will admit I was VERY skeptical of this even though I have heard great things. I have very thick hair (which I know is what it mainly is for), but I also have brittle hair and wanted to strengthen it. Not only has my hair gotten stronger, softer and shiny: it has also grown! I have grown an entire inch since February (which is unheard of for me). My hair was always breaking because it was so brittle and I know I feel it keeps getting longer! Love love love this product.

I also realized one needs to be patient and consistent, taking it as directed, waiting for AT LEAST 4 - 6 months before seeing any results. Then you are rewarded with results! I'm Seeing Results
I purchased this product on recommendation from my dermatologist. I am a 65-year-old woman with hereditary female pattern baldness. I selected LovelySkin.com because they had the best price that I found, ordering was easy and the shipping was free and prompt. I have just started my fourth month using this product. I have noticed new hair growth along my hairline on the sides of my face. Even though I am also using 5% minoxidil foam twice a day, this is not an area where I apply the minoxidil. I was told that it usually takes four months constant use of the Viviscal Professional for new hair growth to become noticeable, so I am pleased with the regrowth I have achieved to date. I gave the product four stars because I can't say for sure whether there is new growth on the top of my head. Maybe this will become apparent by the time I complete the first four months.

This works!
I've had problems with hair loss for 2.5 years now. Six months ago, after trying scalp injections, organic shampoos, lowering the temperature on my flat iron and blowdryer, and taking lots of biotin supplements, I was at wit's end. I tried the Viviscal Professional shampoo, conditioner and tablets (2 a day). I can honestly say that I see a big difference in my hair. I'm not losing quite as much hair, but still more than what is considered normal. However, I have TONS of new growth. The top of my head appears frizzy, but it's just because I have so many new strands of hair popping up. I'm still a little concerned because I continue to lose some of the new shorter hair along with the old longer hair, but either way, it looks a lot better than it did 6 months ago. My doctor also prescribed spironolactone 50mg for me because she thought that may help as well. I started that about a month or so after the Viviscal Professional, but I seem to think it's the Viviscal doing the trick, not the spiro. I am also using ISO BouncyCreme Curl Texturizer (and my hair is not curly), but that seems to help it feel and appear thicker and not so flat and lifeless. I REALLY dislike the taste of these tablets (I have to chew them because I have a hard time swallowing pills), but since they're working for me, I take them anyway. Because of the taste and the fact that I'm still losing some hair, I'll give it a 4-star rating. I have and will continue to recommend this product to my friends.

Fuller, stronger hair
My doctor suggested these. I have taken them for 90 days. I can't see regrowth however, I can say my hair is much stronger, fuller and has more shine. Perhaps they have also helped to stop/slow hair loss, I don't know. Either way I will continue to take them for the improvement I am already able to measure.

After about 9 month usage: My hairline l - I've gained back about 1/2 of the loss. my ponytail is just shy of one inch more in diameter. So measureable results. I have to minus one star, because shark cartilage content troubles my conscience, surely the nutrient can be gained some other way?

I have been taking Viviscal for 5 1/2 months and I'm not sure I see any growth. I have read reviews from the Viviscal web site that "in just a few short months you will have less hair falling out and thicker, fuller hair." It's easy to use and has no side effects because of its natural ingredients, but it is expensive! I will continue to take it for a few more months to see if I can get the results that Viviscal proclaims most people get.
