Apply twice daily to face, neck and décolletage. Reapply to sensitive or irritated areas throughout the day. Avoid getting in eyes. If contact occurs, rinse eyes thoroughly with water. I used this lotion every night for more than 3 weeks. I did not notice a change in rosacea redness on my face, neck or upper chest. The lotion is stickier than most lotions, and has a strong scent (nice, but strong). I find it makes me look greasy in daytime so I only used it at night. It gets on my pillow at night. Lately, I've noticed the lotion is separating in the jar: I find a tiny puddle of what looks like water on top of the lotion when I open the jar. To sum up, it was uncomfortable to wear and didn't give me a noticeable benefit.

I was using this product for a few months after a particularly bad flareup of an issue which left both cheeks red from top to bottom. It was working well, but I did decide it was time to revisit the dermatologist for a follow up on the issue. He was pleased with the results so far, so much so that his recommended next step was a noninvasive laser procedure to finalize the results and keep the redness at bay for good. Needless to say, this product helped show my skin was ready to move onto the next step in the healing process. The "tingling" sensation as noted on the jar is not consistent, and I believe may have something to do with the current state of cleanliness/affairs of your skin with each application. The redness reduction is visible and I looked forward to seeing my true colors each day. I keep it around in the meanwhile just in case it finds another use. Note: I consulted with my dermatologist every step of the way to avoid issues with this product and the other products I use.

I like this product a lot. I do think it helps with the redness associated with my Rosacea. It does take a few days to get used to this product, as others have noted. It can also be a bit sticky but I try to use a small amount. Doing so not only minimizes the stickiness but helps extend the life of the product. Not the cheapest product but it does work well.

It was more of a thick liquid base rather than cream. Skin Medical products are excellent, but I don't think I would repurchase the Redness Relief CalmPlex.

Some reviewers mentioned they don't like the smell, I think it is delicious. To each his own.
