This serum was recommended to me a few years ago by my skincare person. I use it after cleansing, and before I apply my other products. Layering skincare products helps with an anti-aging skincare program (I'm 73 and this matters to me! People stop me everywhere to ask me what I use on my skin.) This gel serum quickly sinks in and is a beautiful nutrient to apply before Retin A, a glycolic acid product, or a moisturizer.

I've used Defenage products for years. They aren't cheap but they are excellent! This exfoliating 5-minute treatment sloughs off dry skin and leaves your skin surface feeling fresh after removal. A tiny pea-sized dab is usually all you need. Be careful around your eyes, as that skin is thin and sensitive. I've overdone it a few times and my under eyes were a little sensitive, but it went away quickly. I will use it in the morning to wake up my skin and provide a fresh surface for my toner, products, and makeup!
