This is a fantastic creation by Dr Gross because it addresses multiple areas of concern at the same time. It exfoliates with the bha and that sort of prepares your skin for the tanning benefits that it also offers. You can create as light or dark of a tan as you prefer by how many times you wipe your face with a single application and that is pretty cool also.

I was worried about the "Intense Glow" description, but it ended up being quite the opposite. This has more of a gradual build, which is a pro for someone like me who has very light skin and doesn't want to look artificial. I was able to use this on my face and neck to add a touch of color without having to do the rest of my body. There wasn't a fake tanner scent for the most part, however after it was on for a number of hours, there was a subtle scent that really came and went and wasn't unpleasant. It was convenient to apply. The reason why I'm not sure if I'd buy this again is because I'd need to use it almost daily to maintain the very light color it gave me. And it has to be left on for many hours to get that color. I'm not sure whether that's maintainable. Mixed bag for me.

My daughter bought these self-tanner pads and gave me a couple to try. She did take a pic afterwards to show me and her skin was really glowing - a little too much! So she started using half the pad and it worked out better. She puts the pad back in the pkg and saves it for next time. Everyone's skin is different so I decided to use half the pad as well and it looks really natural. I have olive skin so for now I'm using these pads and I never leave home without sunscreen. I grew up in Southern CA and right now our Spring weather has been much cooler and not a lot of sun so I'm really happy I'm using these pads!!
