Great exfoliating cleanser

I've been using this cleanser for a few weeks, and I really like it. It has a gel texture with an exfoliating particles. The description says that it transforms into lather, but that hasn't been my experience. I mix with a little water and apply in a circular motion all over my face. It rinses cleanly and smells very fresh. My skin is clean but not dry, and I believe that the pores in my T zone have gotten smaller.

Mild Exfoliating Scrub

I bought this after using a couple of samples. I would characterize it as a mild exfoliating scrub rather than a cleanser. I use it twice a week and it seems to get rid of some of the dull skin and brightens my face up a bit. I don't use it in place of a regular cleanser, it would be too much for my skin but once or twice a week works for me. Nice light scent too.

I really like this exfoliator. A tiny bit goes a long way. It can be as gentle or as abrasive as you want depending on your scrub pressure and how long you exfoliate for. It smells amazing too :)

The smell is starting to annoy me. Not my favorite. And the bottle is 5 ounces so I won’t be able to take it on a plane in a carry-on :( But I do love using it in the shower and I really like the texture and results.

It is a bit unfair, but I am comparing it to a charcoal cleanser I purchased in Maui, made in Maui - which I love! It hurts!!!

When I bought this cleanser I thought it had an exfoliating effect but not actual stones!!! I am still on a Retinol course so I have to apply it and rub it very gently and slowly, otherwise it really hurts! I think it does unclog pores and remove dirt, oil & debris, so I use it 3 times a week during my shower as an exfoliator (not a cleanser!), after which my skin feels soft and ready for the other products I apply at night, whether antioxidants or anti-aging serums/ creams! Unfortunately the pump stopped working after less than two weeks so I had to empty the product in another container :\ I hope it was an exception and not all bottles do that…!

I alternate my Eminence cleaners every few days - Firm Acaci, Clear Skin, Mangosteen, Red Currant, Monoi, and the Charcoal cleanser. The smell is light and refreshing and the granules are not to harsh. Definitely will keep using.
