I have yet to find an EltaMD sunscreen that I did not like, this version included. This one is more moisturizing than UV daily or UV clear, so I find myself using it when my skin is on the dryer side. It does have a white tint when it's first applied, but after a few minutes, it turns translucent. A lot of product comes in the jar compared to the other bottles which is an added bonus. My only complaint is that my eyes seem slightly more sensitive to this formula compared to my usual UV clear and UV daily versions.

I have tried several brands of sunscreen and this one is by far my favorite so far. I have been using this for almost 4 years now and keep coming back to it. It goes on very nice. This is a great face/neck/chest sunscreen, especially for dry skin. It appears to have identical ingredients as the EltaMD pump moisturizing sunscreen lotion and the consistency is quite similar, if not the same. It may be best to purchase whichever is more economical (the pump) and see how it goes. I have sensitive skin, and this does not bother my skin nor does it have a strong, off-putting sunscreen-y smell/ I would not use this for prolonged/heavy sun exposure, but it is great for daily use or as a base layer.

This sunscreen is SO soft and rubs in so easily. I will say that it is not very sheer-- it leaves the skin a bit oily after application, but the oily look goes away after a half an hour or so. I use it after laser hair removal, and it really helps. It is also a good mineral sunscreen for people of color. Most mineral sunscreens leave a white cast, but this one does not. Honestly, all Elta MD sunscreens are good sunscreens for people of color.

After trying out a couple of other EltaMD sunscreen options, I tried this one as a lower SPF option because I noticed it came with a lot more product for the money. I have found the formula to be very hydrating, even in the dry winter months.
