I’m an aesthetic laser nurse, in addition to laser procedures I perform several skin care treatments including peels, I always recommend Elta MD sunscreen for all my clients, it goes on smoothly, protects the skin from UV damage and the tint blends with most skin types. You can safely use Elta MD as foundation as I do instead of a heavy foundation plus if you’re acne prone fear not as thus sunscreen is not greasy but instead leaves your skin silky smooth. I am thoroughly pleased with the EltaMD UV Physical Broad-Spectrum SPF 41 (Tinted) sunscreen. It has the perfect amount of tint to conceal the white cast from the minerals. The formula is silky and light, leaving behind a smooth finish that is dry to the touch. Adding concealer is a little tricky as the formula dries fairly quickly, but it's not impossible. Unlike other tinted sunscreens, I don't feel like I'm wearing a thick, sticky mask and it blends in well with my neutral skin tone. I also think my skin looks and feels better while wearing it, leading me to use make-up less often. Washing it off is also easy as it seems to come off with a gentle cleanser, but I still use an oil cleanser first just to be sure. Highly recommended!

I am south east asian with a brown skin tone and this has to be the only sunscreen that doesn’t leave a freaking white cast on my skin. It doesn’t feel dry or oily. It blends very well on my skin. I am so happy I found a sunscreen that finally suits my skin. I noticed it works well when you apply it with dabbing motion using 2 fingers like applying a foundation than rubbing it as a cream.
