This is my first time trying the product. I'm a long term user of Elta MD sunscreens, especially their clear formula, SPF 46. Since the pandemic I'm finding the shine it gives me a little too noticeable when I'm wearing a mask. To tone down the shine I have to use power, which is drying to my already dry skin. Here's where UV Restore comes in. Pro's: it's hydrating without being greasy and opaque enough to settle well and make me feel covered. It also has a lovely texture and goes on smoothly. A tip recently learned: pat on your sunscreen vs rubbing it in. The difference is notable. Cons: SPF isn't high enough for my needs and the opacity washes me out enough that I have to use blush or a bronzer to balance things if I'm going out or on video. Overall it's a great product. I may order again but likely continue exploring or types and brands first.

It’s hard to write this review because I have such mixed feelings! The biggest issue is that the tint is just a bit dark for my light skin. It’s not overly noticeable if I spend time spreading well, and as of now, I haven’t noticed much oxidation over the course of the day, however I’m not confident enough to wear this somewhere where I want to be sure to look good/natural. It is a little thick, but it feels nice. Takes a while to dry down to a lightly glossy finish. Like, not love for now, but will keep working with it. It is remarkable that it’s a mineral only sunscreen.

I like the EltaMD brand with its use of mineral sunscreens. I changed to this product since it was touted as being focused on aging skin and my other seemed a bit drying. I've been using Eltamd daily uv sunscreen for years and want to use 100% mineral sunscreen. The texture of this sunscreen is perfect, not oily at all and hydrating for my dry spots. The only reason why I knocked one star off is for the tint. I find it's slightly too dark for my fair skin tone and a little hard to blend in around my hair line. I think I will get the untinted version from now on.

I have sensitive skin with rosacea, and have tried every kind of physical sunscreen. They make my face ache and dry out. This one has been the best for me.
