This was provided to me by my dermatologist’s office (after a microneedling w/prp session for face & neck) to use exclusively while healing for next few days. It is amazingly soothing on skin and has antibacterial properties as well. I am 50 & recently diagnosed with mild rosacea. I thought it was acne (Geeze, at my age?!) Turns out the retinol, glycolic acid, & vitamin c for anti-aging, with a dash of salicylic acid, was completely freaking out my skin. Duh. Four weeks after microneedling, my skin is healed and was noticeably clear. I’ve been using his product daily. I honestly think this is working for me. Even if you’re not old, or sensitive, I think this would be a good thing to have around to gently heal after a bit of irritation, product overload, at home peels, or when you’re skin just needs a break for the night.

Good moisturizer for night - a bit heavier
I purchased this and a Avene moisturizer to test. I recently started Retin-a and was worried about peeling. The La Roche Posay lotion is a bit thicker/creamier so I usually use this one on the nights I use Retin-A. I have oily/combination skin, and so far I have had zero peeling and very little irritation.
