I have used this product for a few years. I apply each morning before sunscreen and make-up. My skin appearance stays hydrated, bright and never flaky as someone may think due to the exfoliating action. I feel like it maintains an even skin tone and inhibits discoloration. I've been using Exfoliating Day Lotion for well over 20 years. I was introduced to it by a aesthetician I went to monthly who worked in a plastic surgeon's office. It makes my skin feel very smooth and doesn't stimulate oil production. But the thing I love and the reason I will never stop buying it is the smell. It's not really a "scent," as in floral or fresh or whatever supposedly pleasant fragrance most lotions have added to them. I don't know how to describe the smell-- it's not chemical or medicinal in any way. Not herbal, but it is very natural. It actually reminds me of toast. Or sweetgrass. Or paper. Words fail me. But when I smell it on my face during the day, I absolutely love it, and it makes me very happy. I hope they never change the formula!
