So I'm nearly 31, I have started to see fine lines over the past few years but the main reason I sought out this skincare system is because of my melasma and acne scarring, I truly felt that the makeup I was buying could look much better if it was going onto a better canvas and I'd sought to address that via numerous off the shelf purchases that had yielded zero results. Effective cleanser
I've been using the Obagi Gentle Cleanser for 4 years and counting. I first started using it when I tried out the Nu-Derm system to treat my melasma. I continued using the cleanser and toner in the system because it works well with my skin type. I've tried numerous department store cleansers and toners but find the Obagi cleanser works best for me. What I like about it is it cleanses thoroughly without being harsh. I use toner after I wash my face to get remnant bits of makeup and sunscreen that I miss. I do find some residual makeup on my cotton when I go over my hairline and jaw but that is due to my missing those areas with my cleansing. My husband uses my cleanser about once a week to get a deeper clean. He says it removes sunscreen better than his regular cleanser.
