Skinceutical Discoloration Defense
I have Melasma mostly on my forehead and upper lip and some small patches on my cheeks. I started using this in early September and have not noticed any lightening of even the small patches and spots. It is to be applied AM and PM so the bottle runs out quickly. Perhaps it takes a little longer than 4 months of using it, but I can't justify buying it again as it is rather pricey considering I saw no results.

Great beginning
I received a sample, that I chose, then hesitated to try it, afraid it might be too strong for my skin. SkinCeuticals is a FANTASTIC line so please don't be deterred by my 3 stars for this particular product. The Discoloration Defense is newer to the link and the viscosity is thicker than some of the other serums. Having oily skin I feel the Discoloration Defense is a little much in layering process for my skin, even in the winter. I am going back to Phloretin CF which also has discoloration alleviating ingredients and is thinner.
