This is a great antioxidant serum if you are acne prone but because my skin tends to get dehydrated looking I prefer to use the CE Ferulic serum.

truly helps skin tone
I bought this based on rave reviews. I spend too much time in the sun, and need it all antioxidants, vitamins, and loads of spf. I like how this serum doesnt bead up underneath the layers of moisturizer, spf, and foundation. Pricey, but I believe tis worth it.

I used to use Skinceutical Ferulic serum and did not like the oily texture but figured that for the price I might as well finish the bottle. A couple of days later, the bottle fell and broke in a million pieces (. I used t for about 2 months and was happy with the results except the texture, I have a combination skin, my skin seemed refined. After the bottle broke I bought this one, based mainly of professional and personal reviews. Its only been a short time but I feel the results similar to the Ferulic but I like the watery texture much better. I expect it to go a long way.

I started using this product about 10 days ago in combination with retin-A. I already see a difference in my skin tone. My sister-in-law is a dermatologist and she recommended a Skinceuticals vitamin A formula for morning and retin-A at night. I use the dropped to add several drops to my face, neck, and chest. It can actually burn a bit in places where my skin has been regenerating. Some days my skin will peel a little, which Im not adverse too since I want to get rid of the sun damage. If you do buy this, Id also recommend the elta MD sunscreen, and keep constant with the regimen to really see change to your skin tone. Oh, and I did use an Obagi C product, but that one feels more chemically, so I prefer this brand.

Not that great
I used to use this product many years ago when I was in my late 20s into my early 30s. While I found that it helped with my acne, I also found that it "toughened" my skin. It would seal over open acne scars, which did not help because it was actually blocking my pore so whatever gunk was inside couldnt come out. I also really hate the sticky feeling on my skin after using this. Using C + AHA now and while it still has the same sticky feel, it doesnt block my pores.

Not as good as C Ferulic
Ive suffered from Melasma for years and have tried everything including lasers to lessen the darken of my skin. I recieved a sample of C Ferulic Serum with my Lovley Skin order a couple of months ago. After the second day I was using it, I noticed a difference on the dark shadows on my face. It also gave me this wonderful glow. Researching the benefits of Phloretin CF, in how it helps with discoloration, I thought it may work even better. No way! My Melasma seems to be getting worse and darker, definitly not better. Im bummed out because Ive been using it for about 3 weeks and it cost so much. I guess Ill have to spend more money and buy the C Ferulic instead.
