Great for aging skin
Being post menopausal, I have witnessed many changes in my skin- hyperpigmentation, decreased elasticity, dryness to name a few. This serum has been fantastic at slowing and reversing some of these changes. My skin tone is more even, less pigmented, and more moisturized with this serum. It’s great!

This is my go to for a vitamin C serum. I have sensitive oily acne prone skin and do not break out from the Phloretin CF. I also like the sweet smell of the oil which others may not but I think it has a sweet smell. The only con is it is so pricey!

High quality Vitamin C for blackhead-prone!
My esthetician recommended this over the CE Ferulic version as that has Vitamin E, which can make blackheads worse. This Vitamin C serum has just as high quality ingredients and achieves the same. Great for morning use.

I was impressed with this one. The CE Ferulic irritated my skin and make me break out. I have not experienced that from this product plus it’s really helped with brightening and lightening light spots. I hate how expensive it is so I may only repurchase when on sale.

Prefer CE Ferulic
I have been using this serum for a few months and prefer CE Ferulic over this because of the strange scent. I have become accustomed to the hot dog water odor of CE Ferulic and can't seem to get used to this one. I decided to try it because it is supposedly better for my skin type (combination) but don't see a difference.

I’ve used the Phloretin CF, and the CE Ferulic, and I prefer the Phloretin. The Phloretin smells better and is less sticky/tacky than the CE Ferulic. I’m not sure I notice a big difference overall in my skin, however. I probably won’t repurchase after the bottle runs out.

Not quite sure I got the intended/desired results, addressing dark spots which may be age spots, hyperpigmentation and/or melasma. Will give Obagi Prof-C serum a try. Product wasn’t necessarily enjoyable to use in terms of scent or texture.

Another expensive serum that doesn't work
Disappointed in this serum. It's a bit sticky, and I've seen absolutely no change in discoloration even though I use SPF daily. Way overpriced and lack of efficacy, just like the other SkinCeuticals products.
