I been using a sample of this product for about a month now and started to notice results instantly. I use Dermologica precleanse, cleasing gel, avene retinAL intensive cream, then dermologica's moisturizer at night. In the morning I don't wash my face but I mist avene thermal spring water (let it dry) and then use this serum.It doesnt sting or cause breakouts. THIS SERUM SOAKES RIGHT IN YOUR SKIN AND GIVES A NICE DEWY EFFECT. I've never had dewy skin so that was the first benefit. & I dont have as many breakouts as often as I used to. I have 2 more samples of this which h I will use as long as lovely skin keeps it an option lol but I'd definitely buy this product once I've ran out. BUY IT.

I’m 71 and have had oily, cystic acne skin most of my life. I’ve used prescription Retin A at night for years. Before applying makeup, I’ve always used a drying product. Since buying this, I still use Retin A at night but only Silymarin under my makeup. After one week of use, the pores on my nose were noticeably smaller! After a few weeks, 2 small cysts in my check have gone away. They had been there forever! It only takes a few drops so it lasts quite a while. I’m using my 2nd bottle now and hope to continue to see improvements! I can’t see any reason why I would not continue using this product!

After doing LOTS of research I decided to make the investment and try the original the vitamin C, however just when I was about to buy I saw they had a new formula for acne prone skin so I decided to try the Silymarin instead. I originally planned to purchase the CE Ferulic Acid based on the recommendation of a friend, but when I used LovelySkin's super helpful comparison tool, it showed that this product (better suited to treat acne-prone, oily skin in addition to fighting aging and wrinkles) might be more suited to me. I have really liked it so far! I use it after I wash and tone my face in the morning without any moisturizer and it leaves my face feeling fresh without feeling oily. It's particularly helpful in the summertime when I tend to get more oily naturally. I may try the CE Ferulic in the wintertime, but I will stick with this one in the warmer months.
