I have oily, acne prone skin. I was always skeptical to try this due to the price point, but this is magic in a bottle! I've been using for almost a year, and it changed my skin so much I tell everyone I can about it! It did dry me out a bit in the beginning. I'm going to alternate with Phloretin which I've been using for a couple weeks. Both have been great for my skin type.

So far I am liking this Vitamin C serum. I have breakout prone skin so that's why we chose it and it hasn't caused me to breakout at all. Like most Vit C, it does leave a tint on my hands if I forget to wash them after applying.

I and 18 and I have been dealing with hormonal acne for two years. My main struggle was condemned around my jaw and chin and occasional painfully deep breakouts. I started using this product about two weeks ago and it made a huge difference already. It has cleared up a lot of congestion and almost compelled gotten rid of any hyperpigmentation left. Old reliable
I'm in my late thirties and SO over acne breakouts. It was never bad enough to try Accutane, but it can get pretty bad, and I've had to take antibiotics on and off for years. All this to say that since I started using Silymarin (recommended by a similarly cursed friend), I haven't needed to take medication. I still get the occasional breakout, but it's nowhere near as bad as it was. Normally I wouldn't buy a non-cruelty-free product, but this is the one exception.

I think it's working. It's a darker color than I expected, but LovelySkin customer service is very responsive, and after I submitted photos of it and the code/batch number on the box/bottle they reassured me that it was OK. It is well within the expiration date, so no issues there. Despite the dark color, I do think it's working. I feel a tingle when I first apply it. I'll continue to use and will repurchase to measure a long-term effect. Always grateful for the excellent customer service at LovelySkin.

Good Vitamin C for acne-prone skin
I used this daily in the mornings. I found it a bit sticky and difficult to apply at times, and it oxidized somewhat quickly despite having been kept in a dark cabinet. It absorbed well and did not irritate my sensitive skin. I didn’t feel like I noticed a difference in my skin whether I used it or not (which has been true with all Vitamin C serums that I’ve tried) and did not repurchase, which is why I gave four stars. But, it seems like a great option for those who do noticeably benefit from Vitamin C serums and who have sensitive or acne-prone skin.
