This is the product I’ve been searching for; treatment for adult skin, that seems to think it’s still in college. Yes, this is pricey, but you only need a few drops. The texture helps with application. It has stopped my breakouts, without scarring or scaly drying. I can also see benefits from the Vitamin C, My skin seems brighter, and even before makeup I have natural highlights appearing on my cheekbones. I have snuck outside with no makeup, and even got a compliment on how young I looked. I never dreamed I could go makeup free, but this is a step that can get you there.

Great for teens and husbands!
Bought this by mistake thinking it was the CE Ferulic. My husband occasionally fights with adult adult acne, and uses cheap, over-the-counter products. I talked him into using this instead, as this has other benefits than just acne prevention. It's still too early to tell if the product helps him, but as with all SkinCeuticals products, the transformation of my skin after using their products has been noticeable to me, and to others. I can't say this about any other skincare I've used. I have no doubt it will be the same for my husband.

I have tried, oh, so many C products, but have not loved any of them. Some left me sticky, some left me orange, others spawned blackheads--or worse! This, however, is cleanly absorbed, and not only does not cause breakouts, it helps keep them at bay. I find applying it after washing me face, while my face is still damp, but not wet, gives me the best result. It seems to absorb better than applying to bone dry skin. One star off for price. It's on the expensive side for vitamin C serums.

I have oily skin, and this product did nothing for me. I bought it to achieve brighter skin, and it did absolutely nothing. Furthermore, this serum smells like hot dog water. This is my second serum purchase from SkinCeuticals, and I give up on this brand. I will never purchase from them again. Their products do nothing for me and are ridiculously expensive.

Not Right for Acne-prone Sensitive Skin
My dermatologist asked me to stop my old regimen and replace it with Silymarin - supposed to be a miracle for my acne-prone aging skin. I gave it 3 months before I quit - it made my skin so much worse! I had so many pimples and blackheads the whole time. I have spent 2 weeks back in my old routine and I’m already almost fully cleared up.

Not worth the money
As a mature woman with acne-prone skin, I had high hopes when Skinceuticals introduced this product. I gave it plenty of time to improve my skin--a bottle and a half--and when my skin got worse instead of better I decided to give up on it. I'm now using 2% salicylic acid gel and moisturizer products that are far less expensive and my skin has never looked better. Go figure.

This is not a review of the actual skinceuticals product, but the condition it arrived on my last order. I never have had issues with past orders but this one arrived having leaked slightly from the bottle and the contents being totally oxidized, very disappointing given the cost of the product.
