After applying it on my neck at night, I noticed a difference in deep wrinkles and texture the next morning! I use it every other night because it is extremely drying. After application, I wait 15 minutes to penetrate into the skin, then I apply my face oil, to prevent dryness.

Apply with cream to minimize excessive exfoliation
The 1.0 retinol cream is a bit strong for me in that nightly use has caused too much exfoliation. Rather than switching to a lower strength, I have been using it every few days by first applying a light moisturizer, then the retinol, and then a stronger cream like SkinCeuticals Triple Lipid Restore. In this way, I've been able to go from one to three times weekly with minimal exfoliation issues and will continue the protocol until able to apply daily. I like the SkinMedica Retinol pump container and the consistency of the cream and am also applying it to skin on the back of my hands as an experiment.
