This is a rich, creamy moisturizer. I LOVE it because in my experience, it repairs my skin's moisture barrier and is very effective at reducing redness. It is reparative and CALMING, more so than anything else I've ever tried. 95% of the time I use this at night after applying a thinner moisturizer. It's absorbs beautifully despite being so thick and creamy. I love using this after applying a glycolic or retinoid. I love how this doesn't have any fragrance. I never thought I'd become such an enthusiastic fan of Vanicream. I purchase the 4.0 oz because the hideousness of the 16 oz packaging is unbearable.
