Avene XeraCalm AD Lipid-Replenishing Cleansing Oil Is a really nice product for me. I am highly sensitive to almost everything and had trouble finding a product active enough to remove my sunscreen, but gentle enough for my delicate face and neck skin. This does it for me and I really appreciate being able to use a cleanser that won’t irritate my skin!! I’m grateful to have found it after a long search, trial and error!

I purchased Avene XeraCalm AD Lipid-Replenishing Cream for my husband use it on his exceptionally dry hands. The backs are particularly dry and irritated looking and been like that most of his life for no reason other than genetics. He's always been averse to using hand cream but this one has been a big hit - within a week or so his hands looked better than I remember for most of our 47 year marriage. It sinks in quickly with no residual greasiness. It's a winner!

So glad I found this hydrating cream. It's wonderful and just what I needed. I live in the Midwest, and my skin is terribly dry in the winter. No matter what I used, my face felt dry and itchy. This summer I purchased the Avene for sensitive skin moisturizer and liked it. Thus, I decided to return to Avene for a winter moisturizer. So glad I did. I will now use Avene moisturizers for summer and winter.

I wanted to like this after they discontinued the oil-free cleanser and Avene’s recommended replacement was this. But this made me break out immediately. Only then it occurred to me to look at the ingredients and saw it’s got fragrance and colorants, which explains my breaking out. Idk how they’d think this cleanser would be a good replacement for users with sensitive skin. My sister does love it and use it regularly. She doesn’t have my sensitive skin, of course.
