I’ve been using the Brush on shield for 10 years. I was introduced to it as a medical grade makeup. I have rosacea and most make up will cause breakouts. I also have been diagnosed with melanoma twice. It’s a must for me to wear sunscreen and this is perfect by itself or with the Colorescience Primer. Or over the foundation. I love it.

First, this is not matte! It’s pretty greasy/ shiny on me so I was pretty confused. Second, the shade is terrible, it’s a dark muddy brown. I didn’t have a chance of even trying to pull this color … more

I didn’t have a chance of even trying to pull this color off, just so dark and thick and greasy. I have light combination skin for reference. I wear foundations in the light to light to medium range.

This held up great in the Florida sun as far as sun protection- no burning or tanning at all. But, I am one of those people who can’t stand the feeling of sunscreens or heavy moisturizers on my skin unless they sink in and disappear. This does not. It is heavy and sits on my skin which kinda makes me overheat and feel sticky. So not for me.

I usually don't use sport sticks. Never saw any reason to. But now I find this product indispensable. I use it for the back of my hands. This area is one that I don't ever think about and it shows! I throw it in my purse and use it throughout the day. It's so easy. It's high SPF and high PA ratings are something I really appreciate from Colorscience.
