Good facial sunscreen
I like this tinted sunscreen, but I prefer EltaMD UV Physical Broad-Spectrum SPF 41 better. I bought this one because it has hyaluronic acid in it, so I thought it would be better but it doesn’t seem as moisturizing as the SPF 41. It also costs more and has less ounces.

Great Sunscreen!
ELTA MD makes some fabulous sunscreens. I like this one because it has a high SPF, is physical (mineral based), and oil-free. This one is tinted, but I think the tint is pretty universal, and the formula is also lightweight but also moisturizing. I think it’s great for dry, Winter weather, but I may find something a little lighter for Summer! Great sunscreen, and I love buying from LovelySkin :)

Love this alternative to the broad spectrum tint by Elta. The texture is a little thicker, color slightly lighter, but works the same as the broad spectrum. The chemical octinoxate was burning my eyes in the broad spectrum tinted sunscreen, so I was thrilled once this came out! Give it a try. You won’t be disappointed.

I use this every morning after I moisturize even if I'm not going to wear any additional makeup because if gives subtle color to my very pale skin. I like the texture and it is easy to apply. Please note that even after the pump stops dispensing lotion, there is a lot of product still in the tube and you can take off the pump dispenser to access the remaining product.

Smooth coverage but a tad thin
I like this product and it is a good color for my pale-fish, slightly yellowish-toned Caucasian skin. Thankfully, it applies smoothly and does not appear whitish due to the mechanical sunscreens. I would prefer slightly more coverage, but I am mixing it with my usual (lower SPF) foundation which works well. Glad it does not have the chemical sunscreens as those may be problematic according to the Environmental Working Group.

Best Sunsceen I've Ever Used
The Elta MD Physical Block SPF41 has been as standard of mine for years, but my skin is dry from various treatments so I when I saw this was meant to be more moisturizing I really wanted to try it. I'm glad I did. I have acne prone, sensitive skin that is prone to dryness especially in the winter.My skin feels so comfortable when I wear it, never tight and dry but it doesn't break me out either. The color works for my medium-light, warm skin tone, but I can see how this wouldn't work for very light or med-dark to dark skin tones. On a good skin day where I don't need a lot of coverage, this and some concealer is all I need to make me look nice and even, but it works well under foundation too. I also find it looks better with a primer underneath.

Effective sunscreen without toxic chemicals! No oxybenzone, avonbenzone, etc! Other “good for you” sunscreens with zinc didn’t blend in on my face, leaving a white residue, no matter how much I rubbed the product in. Elta’s tinted formula is perfect! Blends in well & is light on my face, even over top of an existing moisturizer, it doesn’t feel heavy. I would always put heavy makeup on my face after my sunscreen was applied. I now put this product on and feel protected from the sun and made up, as well. The texture feels wonderful on my skin. If there is one negative it is when the container is 3 quarters finished the product has to be opened to apply. It stops coming out as intended with a lot left to be used. I’ve tried squeezing the tube but still the applicator stops working as it should when the tube is full. With that being said I’ve purchased this product many times and will again in the future.
