I'm sure it does its job, but it makes my lips white and kind of melts into my mouth and leaves a weird taste. The taste isn't so off-putting I'll stop using it, but it isn't the lip balm I reach for the most.

I suffer with actinic cheilitis on my lips due to sun damage in my youth. I used the previous formulation of this product for years, and I like this one better because it is has a smoother consistency and higher SPF. This product is non-irritating for me and provides good protection. It does have a slight white cast to it because of the zinc, but it's really not a big deal and does not stand out -- I'd have to use a gloppy amount of it for that to be an issue. Usually when products are reformulated they end up worse -- lower quality, fewer benefits, etc. Not so with this.
