Used this serum previously and then stopped to save money. BIG MISTAKE! I have now switched back to all my previous IS Clinical products. Active Serum does what it claims - brighter skin, fights breakouts for those of use with oily skin! The slight tingly/mild burning sensation goes away quickly and I like the fact that the IS serums can be mixed together for application. I mix my Active Serum with GenexC serum and Hydrocool Serum in the morning. In the evening I alternate Active Serum and Retinol every other night. IS brand is more expensive but is well worth it IMHO. You've got one face, treat it well!

I've been a fan of iS Clinical for years and Active Serum is the my #1 go to for my oily, acne prone skin. With regular nightly use, it smooths my skin, clears up breakouts, decreases pore size and diminishes post acne marks. 4-5 drops will cover my entire face (1 direct drop to each quadrant of my face and then an extra on my chin for my hormonal acne). It never dries out my skin and sinks in immediately - love that tingly feeling too! Last year my derm talked me into trying tretinoin instead and it ripped up my skin. I switched back to Active Serum and my skin was immediately calmed within days. Thank goodness I found LovelySkin last year and stocked up on two bottles during their holiday sales.
