This is the best makeup I have ever worn. It is good for all skin types. I am in my 60s and have worn makeup for over 50 yrs. The tip is to wet your face lightly, use just one small squirt, half what they suggest. Dot it on your face, and spread it (I use a circle motion) with your fingers all around to the hairline and chin line until it is dry. Then, put on just a very small amount of the pressed powder, blush, then spray. Then, blot the spray with a tissue, and you have makeup that does not get in wrinkles. It will stay from morning till night and your skin will actually improve as the weeks go on. But you need to spray with one of Jane's sprays and blot. That keeps it from getting into wrinkles and gives it stay power. And no, I do not sell the stuff. Just love the makeup.

I love Jane Iredale products–until this one. I don't think this product really works unless you combine it with other products, like a powder. Otherwise, I go a quarter of the way through the day, and it looks like I didn't even apply foundation at all. On the flip side...it hasn't caused any skin problems, and I haven't really gotten any acne since using this. Yet...I have dry skin, so acne isn't really the problem. I'd say, if you are going to use this, most DEFINITELY get the primer! I have always believed that lotion was plenty of a primer...but oh...was I wrong! Foundation is always hard for me because I acknowledge that I have been blessed with good skin (thank you Jesus!), but I feel the need to at least semi-blend my freckles, or else my 29 year old self gets mistaken as a student at the school I work at. Hopefully, the loose powder will help me look somewhat more mature without looking like I have a caked on face!

I have tried so many foundations for my sensitive, dry rosacea skin. Liquid Minerals looks natural on my skin, just enough coverage for redness. It doesn't settle into fine lines and leaves my skin dewy, not dry. You do have to learn how to apply to obtain a flawless finish. I use my fingers and gently rub until it becomes smooth. It has become the only foundation I now use.
