Just started using this line again to try to address some resistant dark spots on my cheeks. Prefer arbutin over hydroquinone because it's safer even though probably not as effective. However, just read the arbutin can similarly cause rebound hyperpigmentation. Sigh. Hope this works for me.

I’ve been using this product for about a week and I already notice my “hyperpigmented” spots lightening up. I work in healthcare so wearing a mask and face shield has definitely caused an increase in acne. I have tan skin so when I get acne I also get hyperpigmentation.
