It’s great for small bumps around the chin and forehead. It’s not drying and my skin actually improved more than usual. I’m 59 and my skin is healthier than when I was 40. Highly recommend it. I will receive a free full-sized Silymarin CF for posting this review. I have been using this Silymarin Vitamin C daily since it came out last year, and I love it for my acne prone skin. It helps fight free radicals, breakouts and evens out my skin tone- what more can I ask for? I’ve used several different vitamin C’s before including SC’s original Ferulic one along with the Phloretin version, and the Silymarin is definitely best for my skin type. It’s so light weight and non-sticky. It works well with the layering of my skincare.

Better than CE Ferulic for oily skin

I have used it for about a year now, every morning after I wash my face. I used CE Ferulic before and I stopped after a few uses, my skin always ended up oily and shiny (gross). Incredible Daily C Serum!!
SkinCeuticals is a brand I have been using for 23 years. I have always used the Vitamin C serums and because I have oily skin have switched to the Silymarin CF Vitamin C serum about 2 years ago. I use it daily as a preventative for hyperpigmentation and to prevent aging. This helps reduce the oil in my skin tremendously, and I get compliments all the time and how I look. I used to get hyperpigmentation and my forehead and cheeks, and since switching to this serum, have noticed minimum freckling. I can't say enough about it!! I now use it daily on not only my face, but also my neck, décolleté, and hands which are all smoother, younger looking, and have fewer freckles and a better overall texture. As a long time user of CE Ferulic, I was excited to try this new alternate version that specifically targets oily skin, since I have combination / T-Zone oily skin. It smells exactly the same as CE Ferulic to me and to be honest, I don't notice a huge difference between the two products. Another fabulous SkinCeuticals serum!
I have used SkinCeuticals' serums for years and love every one of them. This Silymarin CF Vitamin C Serum is a new one for me and it is terrific.
