Best Vitamin C serum for me
I have extremely oily skin, and other Vitamin C serums seemed to sit on my skin and increase oiliness. Since I have been using Skinceuticals Silymarin, I don’t have the same level of oiliness (except around my period), and my pores are less clogged overall.

Effective product
I’ve been using vitamin C serum for ages as per the recommendation of my dermatologist. But this is the first time I’ve used SkinCeuticals Silymarin CF. SkinCeuticals Silymarin is my new HG serum
I received a sample of this serum from LovelySkin and was hesitant to try it because of the hefty price tag. I finally tried it because I was at my wits end with my adult acne. I have suffered from acne since middle school and I am now 40, to say I have tried everything is an understatement. I used my sample in the mornings and in 2 days noticed my skin was clearing up. I have now been using this product for a month and I have not had any hormonal acne flare ups or other breakouts. I have had a random pimple show up but nothing like what I was experiencing before. This stuff works! It has reduced redness and scarring, reduced oil production and reduced size and longevity of acne(new or existing). I no longer have to blot all the time and I don’t look shiny an hour after my makeup is done. I’m a believer in this product! I use 4 drops every morning so one bottle will last me for months. At night I use the age and blemish serum, they definitely compliment each other nicely and don’t dry out/irritate my skin. I use a gentle face wash and hydrator as I do have sensitive skin and am always cautious to avoid irritation. This is hands down the most effective, multi tasking serum I have ever used and it has earned a permanent spot in my routine. Definitely worth trying if you are oily/acne prone. Truly, if I could only have one product it would be this, it’s that incredible.

Finally free from hormonal acne
I am on my 4th bottle of SkinCeuticals Silymarin CF. It is the first product that has ever completely resolved my hormonal acne. I have spent years trying different products and working with my dermatologist to get the acne under control. Even Accutane was only effective for a few months. When I read about the introduction of this product, even though the price was much more than I normally would pay, I decided to give it a try. Within weeks my acne was cleared. I have tested a few times to make sure it was really this product that was doing the trick - if I stop for only a couple of days, a small amount of acne returns. Other product notes: it absorbs right away and does not interfere with makeup application. Also, it reduces oil production throughout the day; I only use a couple of blotting papers if I want to look more matte, not one an hour like I used to. This is my one must have product. It is so wonderful to be free from adult acne.

Great for Blemish-Prone Aging Skin
I have been using the Silymarin CF Vitamin C Serum for over a year now. I have tried the other SkinCeuticals serums but so far this is my favorite. It doesn’t make my skin breaks out and it actually helps my skin to be less oily. I have noticed my forehead & crow lines lines around my eyes are less noticeable. Light Formulation that Absorbs Well
I used to use Skinceuticals C E Ferulic. I much prefer the Silymarin C Serum as it is feels lighter and does not leave a sticky or tacky feel after application. I’m prone to breakouts as well and so the salicylic acid in this formulation is a plus. I’m on my 2nd bottle and plan to use forever.

Great for acne-prone skin

It has a great finish on the skin and layers well with other products. I don't see a noticeable difference in brightness as compared to more dedicated vitamin C products, but it does an excellent job to help control my hormonal breakouts and oiliness. Skinceuticals finally created a product that fit the bill! CE Ferulic prompted breakouts for me and I was never quite sure about Phloretin. I feel safe with this product. I use this product for blemishes and I'm using now on a scar from years old surgery. The scar is on my neck and I'm hoping this serum will make the scar less noticeable. It works fast on healing blemishes, I used on a deep blemish and while it took time, the blemish is gone. Because of the high cost of this product, I use sparingly but it doesn't take much product since it's a liquid. I dab a little on the end of my clean finger and spread over my skin. No irritation from using this product daily.

Loved my skin

I purchased Silymarin CF Vitamin C serum when I was struggling with unprecedented acne due to layers of dry skin. I had been using an acne cleanser that was too drying for my skin. I didn't realize that I was the cause of the problem as I never really had acne. My skin looked like hormonal teenage skin. I did some research on what to use. I decided to go with SkinCeuticals brand as I have been a SC customer for a few years. The serum did a fantastic job! It was able to gradually slough the skin, bring the acne to the surface and heal the damage. It took time, about 2 months but that seemed quick considering how long I had been struggling with the acne. During that time I was using the serum every evening, which may be too strong for some people. But I covered it with another SC cream to combat potential drying. Now that my skin is smooth and acne free I have cut back and only use the serum a couple times a week for maintenance. My skin hasn't looked this smooth and bright in years. Whether you use every night or a couple times a week you won't be disappointed. I highly recommend the Silymarin CF Vitamin C serum.
