This is the first sunscreen I’ve found that doesn’t pill, no matter how many products I layer underneath it! The tint is perfect - subtle and easily blendable. I threw out at least a half dozen expensive tinted sunscreens before I finally found this one. So happy with it. Love that it’s a mineral sunscreen too!

The best sunscreen on the market
For years, I have been on the hunt for a sunscreen that is truly wearable. By wearable, I mean it doesn't pill, leave weird makeup-like streaks on my face, get stuck in my stubble (I'm a guy), or burn my eyes. So many mineral sunscreens just don't do what brands say they will do, but this one is different. It goes on like a dream, rubs in perfectly, re-applies easily, and gives my skin the most subtle and even glow. Do not sleep on this. It's truly the BEST sunscreen on the market right now.

The BEST sunscreen under makeup!
I have rosacea with significant redness, so I have to wear makeup daily to help with my coloring. This sunscreen is completely nonirritating and plays perfectly with makeup. If I am redoing my makeup for the evening, I will even put this on underneath because it makes my makeup go on more smoothly and just look better. Try it!

Great for very sensitive skin
I bought this for my sister when she complained that sunscreen with any zinc oxide gave her a rash so she was using an titanium dioxde-only spf. This SkinMedica Essential Defense tinted spf worked great for her, and the tint was perfect for her medium skintone. It has just enough coverage that she doesn't need light foundation anymore.

I’ve tried many sunscreens and this by far is the best. I’m very light skinned and most tinted sunscreens are too dark or too drying for my skin. This is a perfect fit for me. With my laser treatments it doesn’t burn my skin and keeps it moist. I’ll never use anything else.

This is a wonderful tinted sunscreen, but it's WATER RESISTANT! The box doesn't indicate this. If you have sensitive skin or Rosacea, this sunscreen is NOT for you. I have sensitive skin and had to cleanse my face 3 times to get it off!

I am an avid sunscreen wearer, and very loyal to a different brand. I decided to try a tinted SkinMedica sunscreen and was not impressed. The sunscreen from the other brand is light but provides excellent coverage with a lovely tint. The SkinMedica tinted sunscreen got all over my clothing (which the other formula does not). I think SkinMedica is extremely overrated and has good marketing. There are better products at a much more competitive price point.
